| The Ottawa Cardiovascular Centre is pleased
to announce Dr. Chamoun Chamoun will be
joining us in the practice of Cardiology on July 7, 2003.
Dr. Chamoun graduated magna cum laude from the Medical School at the University
of Ottawa in 1996. He completed Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester,
Minnesota in 1999 and undertook Cardiology training at Indiana University training
with one of the godfathers of echocardiography, Dr Harvey Feigenbaum.
Following completion of his Cardiology training Dr. Chamoun pursued fellowship
training in echocardiography including Trans-esophageal echo (TEE) and Stress
echo and did an additional year of training in Invasive and Interventional Cardiology
at the University of Indiana.
Dr. Chamoun will have active staff privileges at the Montfort Hospital and Cardiac
Catheterization privileges at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
Dr. Chamoun is fluent in English, French and Arabic and is an exciting addition
to the Cardiology Staff of the Ottawa Cardiovascular Centre.
