Brendan Quinn, M.D., FRCPC, CSPQ

Dr. Quinn attended medical school and did his internal medicine training at McGill University in Montreal. He finished his cardiology training at the Ottawa Heart Institute and began active practice at the Montfort Hospital and is a member of Ottawa Cardiovascular Centre since January 1987. Dr. Quinn did an additional six months of training in cardiac catheterization prior to starting practice.

 

Dr. Quinn is Chief of Medicine at the Montfort Hospital and the ICU Director. He is a Past President of the Medical Staff and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Quinn’s areas of interest in cardiology include acute coronary syndrome and related research. He has also participated in numerous hospital and office based clinical trials. He is an active member of the CONDOR network and a recognized leader in hypertension management.

Outside of medicine Dr. Quinn is well recognized as a wine aficionado and enjoys skiing and playing golf.
