Dr. Taucer is an Assistant Professor at the University
of Ottawa School of Medicine, with Dual Specialty Certification in Nuclear
Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology.
Dr.
Taucer graduated from the University of Toronto School of Medicine in
1979. He accomplished his internship training at the Ottawa Civic Hospital
in 1980. His residency and fellowship training took place at the University
of Western Ontario, London and the University of Ottawa between 1982 and
1988.
Dr. Taucer holds active hospital privileges at the Montfort and Elizabeth
Bruyere Hospitals and consulting privileges at the Ottawa Hospital. Dr.
Taucer has sat on the College of Physicians and Surgeons Independent Health
Facilities task force since 1980. He has acted as chair of the Montfort
Hospital utilization management committee and has been a member of many
other committees since 1988. Dr Taucer is currently the coordinator for
medical students in residence training in radiology at the Montfort Hospital.
